イギリス初の谷村うどんパーティーは、なんとパリからご招待頂き、ロンドンから北へ1時間ほどのケンブリッジの近くの場所で、ホストの方の誕生日会として行われました！日本語や日本文化に興味があるイギリス、ギリシャ、イタリア、エストニア、フランスの方々、そして勿論うどんが恋しい日本の方々に谷村うどんを食べて頂きました。例年割と涼しいのが英国の八月のようですが、今年はどの国も暑いようで、英国も例外ではありません・・・！そのせいか、冷たいうどんが美味しいと言っていた方も多かったのは驚きでした。お越しいただいた皆様、そしてお手伝いや準備などありがとうございました！

The very first Tanimura Udon party in England was held in the place close to Cambridge, an hour up to north from London by train. British, Greek, Estonia, France and Italian people who are interested in Japanese language and culture showed up, and ofcourse Japanese people living in England craving for udon! Normally August tends to be relatively cool tempreture-wise, but this summer seems to be hot in all of the countries. It was a nice surprise that lots of people loved the cold udon probably due to this tempreture. Thank you all for coming and for support and preparation!
