2018/3 World is beautiful!/ Japan Tochigi pref 世界は美しい！/日本・栃木

2018/1に栃木で谷村うどんを食べてくれたUさんからこんなメッセージをいただきました。

「3月末に下野市の姉妹都市のドイツのある街から中学生の交換留学生たちが市にやって来るのですが、先生のステイ先が無いと市が困っていたので、早速わが家へどうぞと受け入れました。主に妻の〇〇が面倒みるのですが、思い切りhappiness分かち合おうと思います。」

と、嬉しいことに、訪問の際に常々谷村うどんが話しているhappiness cycleにインスピレーションを受けてくださったそうで、日本に滞在するドイツの姉妹都市の先生たちの受け入れ先としてUさん宅を提供したそうです。

「ドイツでも、うどん会が開けると良いですね。私たちも幸福循環を信じています、というか、これは幸福を得るための正統な方法とも感じています。」

とのことで、なんとなく、谷村うどんが細々とやっていることが次の何かに繋がった気がしました。こうやってメッセージを頂けることは、非常に嬉しいですし、何より一人で何もかもやってる谷村うどんとしてはモチベーションになります。おかげで、これからも色々な国でうどんが作れそうです、Uさんありがとうございました！このようなお話が、もしあるのであれば皆さんも連絡いただけるとモチベになるので嬉しいです。

I've recieved a message from the host Mr.U I visited in Tochigi pref Japan in 2018/1.

Mr.U says "Visiting Tochigi pref in March, teachers of sister city from Germany were looking for an accommodation, and the council was wondering if there is a host in the city, so we welcomed them straight away. We would like to share our happiness."

So happily, it seems like Mr.U was somehow inspired by my story of "happiness cycle" , which I speak about as an introduction of myself when I visit for udon making, and offered their rooms for those German teachers to actually do what they can do for others and share their happiness.

Mr.U says "I hope you can do a udon party in Germany as well. I believe in happiness cycle. This is the only way to become happy rather I would say."

Hearing this story, I felt like what I had been doing actually inspired another person to share his or her happiness, and I was really happy. This kind of message becomes a huge motivation for me as I really do everything about udon traveling all by myself. Thank you so much Mr. U. If there is this kind of story around after having my udon, I am more than happy to hear about it so let me know.
