Unfortunately a word "genocide" could be the first to come up in your head when you think of the country Rwanda, but nowadays this country is known as one of the most modernized, safest, high tech country in Africa. The capital city, Kigali could be one of the most liveable city in East Africa even for foreigners.
I've got a chance to see water quality checkup in a rual area in Rwanda.
The water looks red because of the red sand but the drinking water itself was clean. I tried it and was good because of all these people who work for the quality of water here. By the way, I saw local people drinking this red water in rural area in Ethiopia afterwards...!
Local people carry this drinking water on this kind of hill. It's actually touch even without carrying the water.
Rwandan people are generally known to be shy. So these kids were!
Accept whatever happens, or else you will be trapped by your anger 怒りの増幅に歯止めをかけるには、受け入れること(2)
When something like this happens, all of the sudden very friendly nice guy appears in front of me. This kind of person really changes the way I see Egyptian people. This person heals my damaged heart, and stops this negative cycle. Dirty water that was flowing from me starts to be purified because of him. This kind of person gives moisture to this desert country. He must be my Nile river!
We just have to wait and accept whatever happens till someone like him appears. Just think that this is what happens in this country. I am just expecting way too much than I should be from them. I am the one who chose to come to this country and people in this country must be thinking why the heck I am getting angry to what happens in this country..! Why not have enough change by yourself so that you don’t have to get mad every time…?
If you(I) could think this way, life gets much easier because everything is my fault now. I really think whatever happens around me is partially my responsibility. It doesn’t make sense to be angry and complain to people in the country which I made a decision to come. I am the one who have to adapt to the situation and reality here. (I really mean it!)
*No offense to Egyptian people! lol
