Making udon keeping "kosher" was one of the difficulties that world traveling udon maker had to overcome in Israel. For people keeping kosher, dishes cannnot have pork, shrimps and clams and so on...But for people with stricter regulations, I was not allowed to use udon utensils if those could possibly have been washed with animal oriented soap or used for some other foods other than udon dough so that there was an occasion I could not use rolling pin and noodle cutter that I've been using. In this party, I borrowed the kitchen utensils from the venue (fully equipped with variety of kitchen utensils like a restaurant kitchen), and some amazing funky udon dancer joined us and we all had fun.
