My very first workshop in israel was held in this beautiful land Jerusalem, where I was craving to come for years since I started backpacking. This place is very inspirational and lots to learn and think about. Again the facebook brought me here in Jerusalem and again fortunately the host family of the workshop were so nice that they taught me so many things about culture and history of Israel. So honored to teach you one of the Japanese food culture here in Jerusalem. I will spread the word and what I learned from you to people of different countries of the world through making udon.

記念すべきイスラエルでのうどんワークショップが、10年ほど前にバックパッカーをしていた時からずっと来たかった美しきエルサレムで行われました。宗教が混ざり合う街でもらうインスピレーションは半端なく、知らないことがありすぎる自分の無知さ加減に嫌気がさす一方で、思考しまくる日々です。またしてもフェイスブック様様により、一人も知り合いがいないイスラエルという地で、現地の人に谷村うどんを食べて頂く機会を設けることができました。そして幸運にも、今回ホストしてくれたユダヤ教徒の方々はとても素敵かつ知的で、世界を旅するうどん屋に色々なことを教えてくれました。日本人と接点がない人たちに日本の文化の一つであるうどんを伝えることができてよかったです。教えていただいたことと、私がここで感じたことは世界中でうどんを作る中で、各地で伝えていきたいです。
